What you need to know
Account responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person or organization. You must be at least 18 years old to use Sitewatch.
Acceptable use
Use Sitewatch to monitor websites you own or have permission to monitor. Do not use the service to overload third-party servers, conduct security testing, or any unlawful purpose.
Billing and payments
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis for annual plans.
Data ownership
Your monitoring data belongs to you. We store it only to provide the service and delete it according to your plan retention policy or upon account deletion.
Service availability
We target high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance windows are communicated in advance. The service is provided as-is.
Termination
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data is deleted within 72 hours.

Terms frequently asked questions
Yes. You can cancel your paid subscription at any time from your account settings. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fees apply.
When you cancel, your monitoring data is retained until the end of your current billing period. After that, data is deleted according to the standard retention schedule. You can request immediate deletion at any time.
You should only monitor websites you own or have explicit permission to monitor. Sitewatch makes standard HTTP requests to check your pages -- similar to what any web browser does -- but you are responsible for having authorization.
Sitewatch is provided as-is with commercially reasonable uptime. We do not currently offer a formal SLA with uptime guarantees or credits. We monitor our own infrastructure and resolve issues as quickly as possible.
